Adventure waits each day as kids explore tide pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immovable Breaker Rock! Kids will be challenged as they discover that God's truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love!

We take our responsibility to our Cove Kids and Cove Students Ministry seriously. SCBC requires that all volunteers meet and agree to the following requirements:

An updated background check through SCBC
Non-member volunteers must meet with our Lead Pastor before being approved to serve with our children
You agree to never be alone with a single child— there must always be two adults present
You agree to bring all information about the safety and welfare of any child to the VBS directors and Lead Pastor
All language discussions must be respectful and Godly
No smoking, vaping, or any other drugs/alcohol are allowed at VBS or on Starnes Cove property
