We're so glad you're here.
Starnes Cove Baptist Church is a church located in West Asheville, North Carolina, who’s mission is to make disciples of Christ, first through loving and worshipping God, truly showing the love of Christ to those around us by extending a hand to our community, meeting people where they are, and therefore building our local, and the global church. Whether you’ve been out of church for a few months, 30 years, or have never been to church, we’re saving a seat for you here at Starnes Cove.
Opportunity to Serve
We are currently looking for more volunteers that would love to serve in the nursery! In this position, you'd be on rotation, serving with one other person when its you're Sunday to serve, and you'd be keeping babies anywhere from 6 weeks old, to 2 years old. Please contact Laura Smathers, or the church office if you are interested in serving, or would like to find out more about this role!
At Starnes Cove Baptist, we are involved in a number of ministries, both internally within our church, and with different establishments in our community such as ABCCM, Baptists on Mission, and more. Visit our “Our Ministries” page to learn more about how you can be involved with serving, or how we can help serve you!
We almost always have something going on here at Starnes Cove that we’d love for you to be a part of! Be sure to check out our events page for any upcoming churchwide events, or important dates to note in your calendar. Whether it’s Vacation Bible School, Wednesday night suppers, or our annual Live Nativity, we would love for you to join us for any upcoming events! If you’re currently a member of SCBC and you’re planning an event and would like to feature it here on our website, email email@example.com.
We exist to worship God, to bring people to Christ and into a loving fellowship of believers, and to disciple them for service and ministry to others.
"For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another."
— Romans 12:4-5
We would love to connect with you!
