Join a Community Group
Looking for a place to belong? At Starnes Cove, we believe in building a strong community of believers, and in doing life together, outside of corporate worship, just as Jesus's disciples did. Our church currently has two Community Groups, one for Young Adults (25-45) and one for our College and Career class (18-24). These groups meet weekly on Sundays in a laid-back and casual atmosphere, providing a great opportunity to connect with others, dive deeper into Sunday's sermon, and grow in your faith. We'd love for you to join us!

Genuine Connection
Beyond the small talk and the laughter, our Community Groups are all about inviting you into a space where real connections happen. Where genuine friendships are cultivated, and where we help each other through life by doing life together. We share laughs, and heart-to-hearts, and deep conversation. This is where you'll find a community that feels like family.

Transformative Growth
As a member of one of our Community Groups, you'll find that we go beyond the laughs and small talk. We have conversations that focus on deeper faith connections. It's more than just exploring the Word—it's about diving deep, having an open dialogue, finding ways to live out God's Word, coming together in prayer, asking questions, and uplifting and encouraging each other. It's a space where your faith can be nurtured & deepened alongside fellow believers.

Support In Your Walk
In our Community Groups, the focus is on growing deeper in your relationship with Christ, and strengthening your faith. Our groups provide an encouraging and supportive environment where discussions and shared experiences are geared towards helping each other grow, so we can better show God's love to others, & ultimately help bring others to Christ.
Why You Might Consider Joining A Community Group
In the early church, believers gathered not only for corporate worship (like on Sundays and Wednesdays) but also in smaller, more intimate groups, meeting in each other's homes, sharing life together, and engaging in discipleship. The goal and mission of our Community Group is to reflect this Biblical model, providing an environment for genuine fellowship, shared life, and spiritual growth.

"Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." — Acts: 2:46-47

Life's Better Together— We All Need Friends and Community
Just like the first Christians showed us, there’s something really important we need to remember— we need each other. Life is way better, and easier, when we have genuine friends and a community around us. These aren’t just people to hang out with— they’re the ones who laugh with us, help us when we're struggling, and are there to listen and provide sound advice when we need to talk.

In today's busy and hectic world, it's super easy to feel like we should just handle everything on our own and take everything upon ourselves. But that's not how we were created. We're stronger, happier, and better when we're connected to others who care about us & want the best for us. Friends & community make us stronger—they pick us up when we fall, share our best days, and give us sound advice when we’re stuck.

That's what you can count on when you join one of our Community Groups here at Starnes Cove. We would love do welcome you in and do life with you!
